Plus, I got the meter right. ;O)

That you did. :)

I never realized that Scripture has 'meter'. You learn something new every day. :)

>Eight days and counting ... :(<

>Those in power will become ever more arrogant about their desires to achieve a United Socialist States of America.<

We have already reached that station. Now we are waiting for the frightened masses of people to calm down and hear the commands coming over the loudspeakers. If they don’t obey, a short period of martial law will bring them under control.

Are you thinking that the tent cities are overly large these days? Compared to what we’ll have next year at this time, these are nothing. That’s when we’ll understand that a home on four wheels is all that many can afford and they are thankful for what they have.

As long as people put their political party before their country, we’ll have sheeple that are easy to control. Someone who is hungry and unemployed is a fine upstanding Democrat who will vote exactly the way they are told to. The aged person who can’t afford all the recommended prescriptions will vote for a government controlled health plan.

The couple who watched their retirement plans go out the window are scared stiff. They don’t know what to do. They are literally lost. None of the old methods for investing work anymore. Getting out of the market and holding cash is so strange to them it seems perverted. Having three months of household expenses in cash at home is frightening for them. They feel like fish in an aquarium. That’s not the way Americans want to feel! They feel as though the Republican Party has let them down.

We are going to see many, many people making emotion led decisions in the next eight days that they will be sorry for later.

Beautifully said, every word!

When you are able to set aside sixteen minutes, please watch the video that is linked in Response #3. It is possibly the most chilling thing I have witnessed in recent memory, and was filmed twenty-three years ago, when the Soviet defector had no knowledge of what we are currently experiencing.

Thanks for the compliment.

I read the interview with Yuri about 10 or 12 years ago. Thanks for the video. I wish I knew how to save it on to my PC.

Joanie, that's a lot to fix all at once. Going to take time and involvement of all patriots as soon as they are fully awake. I believe this generation is the one chosen to fix it and it isn't going to be pretty or polite. Your 'to do' list looks pretty complete. Enough there to keep everyone busy. For the most part, I believe leaderless resistance will get 'er done. To paraphrase the enemy's motto, 'from each according to their skills, to each according to their opportunity.'

Eastbound, barring Divine Intervention, I don't share your optimism, but I pray that it is justified.

Thanks for the heartfelt insights.

Wow joanie, simply one of, if not THE best essay you have ever penned!!! A masterpiece from a masterful wordsmith and true patriot! My hope is this genuine masterpiece will fill the email servers around the country as the email chains begin to stir into motion. IMHO, your essay should be read in EVERY pulpit in the nation this Sunday. It might just shake some of the sleeping flocks up enough to mobilize them into the force they/we should be. May the Spirit move upon this once great nation as in the days of its founding.

My humble contribution that pales in comparison, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, well...

May God help us!

Thanks for the very kind words, FGS. :)

And thanks, also, for the graphic. I've 'stolen' it to use on my weblog, with your implied permission, of course. :)

Agreed. Prayer is our most powerful weapon. Many ignore its power, and many simply provide lip service to it. The Lord discerns the difference between true believers and pretenders.

Thank you for the reminder.

Great article, joanie. But you don't write any other kind.

On another thread a couple of people suggested that the unrest and division in this country is only a result of a "small fringe" on the left. In light of that mindset I'd like to re-post my response to that here.

It has hardly been a fringe element fomenting the divisions and unrest in this country. Nearly all the major media has ignored the truth and poured fuel on the fire by doing so. They carried the water for the "Bush lied" meme. They published national security secrets. They refuse to vet 0bama just as they refused to expose the Clinton's lies and crimes. Even Bill and Hill aren't immune to it and got trampled by the media's willful complicity with 0bama's lies and lack of resume.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Sen. Kennedy is one who denigrates our troops with lies.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Sen. Kerry denigrates our troops with lies.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Sen. Durbin smears our troops with lies.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Cong. Murtha denigrates our troops with lies and false accusations.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Cong. Murray denigrates our troops with lies and praises the good works of Islamic jihadis.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Sen. Reid declares the war lost just as we make good progress. Or tries to use the power of the Senate to silence Rush Limbaugh with a lie.

It is hardly a small fringe element when Speaker Pelosi falsely calls the President a liar.

It is hardly a small fringe element when the NYTs (the most recognized newspaper in America) allows an ad to run that calls an American hero and patriot, risking his own life and limb to accomplish a herculean feat, "General Betrayus."

It is hardly a small fringe element that bankrolls a half dozen or more radically anti-American groups like Moveon.org.

It is hardly a small fringe element when no serious condemnation of these things is heard. Or when it is condemned it is buried or the one who condemns it is mocked and savaged by the press.

It is hardly a small fringe element when a working guy asks "The One" a simple question then finds over 100 reporters on his lawn and his entire life exposed in the national media.

It is hardly a small fringe element when a radical and criminal group like ACORN is funded with hundreds of thousands of tax dollars by our Congress and hundreds of thousands more from the campaign of one of the Pres. candidates.

It is hardly a small fringe element when a major network and their longtime leading talking head fabricate a story from whole cloth to derail the Republican candidate.

The unrest and division is no anomaly confined to a fringe of hotheads and kooks when all of this and more is promoted and encouraged from a wide swath of our national leadership. This division is not arising in a vacuum. It is being encouraged and spread from Congress, from the biggest media outlets and from universities across the nation.

I've 'stolen' it to use on my weblog, with your implied permission, of course. :)

By all means. If it can be helpful in converting even a handful of the misinformed electorate, it's certainly worth every ounce of energy of our combined efforts.

BTW, looks good on your site but resizing caused it to become a little frayed around the edges. Try THIS ONE? I even added a nice RED border for you...

Brief aside: Unless you happen to be running a rare 64 bit system, all things are stored on our computers in 32 bit packets(?). Everything up to 32 bits in size will take up 32 bits of space. Between 33 bits and 64 bits will take up 64 bits; between 65 and 96; 96 bits, etc. Out of habit more than anything else, I try to make the size of my graphics fit just under the cutoff to reduce wasted space. Probably more anal than anything, but...

Indeed; Gramsci would have been beside himself with his CONTRIBUTION. The Long March is bearing much fruit.

Thanks for the very kind words, TE.

... and for the excellent insights. I couldn't agree more. Those who attribute the motives and actions of the base of the democrat party to a small subset of that party have not been paying attention for the last fifty years.

Your list is impressive and entirely fact-based.

I need to perform a little housekeeping and modify my previous post for the sake of clarity, that is, wherever you find a number like 32, 64, 96, etc? Add a K behind it, as in 32K, 64K, etc.....

Now, all better, I think ;^)

Thanks, also, for the storage advice. I was not aware of any of that and will be keeping your advice in mind from now on.

Stay well and vigilant, FRiend ...

Thank you. I rattled it all off of the top of my head. But I'm not bragging it's just a very deep well of seditious acts to draw from.

Bookmarking. Thanks. Many of us know some of this, and work hard to share, this is a great account. So many others are waiting to be sheared and happy about it. What a rude awakening that will be, if the shearer takes office.
