A fellow I know (a Ron Paul supporter, who has never owned a gun as far as I know) just went to a gun show and bought a Yogoslavian SKS, a Romanian AK (semi-auto) and an SVD (Dragunov) sniper rifle. Nobody’s worried. Relax.
Really? it must have been another professor or something then because Obama referring to a professor (pretty sure it is Lott) as the “gun guy” is something I heard about a few months ago
Maybe Lott has been trying to get the word out for some time. It wouldn’t be surprising. Critics of Obama get little oxygen.
Savage is on the other station and I’d prefer Kirby at the time he is at (morning drive). If he switched stations and took Savage’s spot, he’d be opposite of Mark Levin - - and, as much as I like Kirby, I’d have to listen to the Great One.

If he wins I’ll start saving for a new gun purchase on 1/19/09. What with all the BDS 1/20/09 nonsense I think a surge of gunsales on that day would make a nice counter-gesture, not to mention prepare us for an Obama presidency. There’s no doubt that he’s coming for our “military-style assault rifles,” but that will only be the beginning.

More likely he’s talking about squirt guns. But not the powerful ones, just little tricklers.
Obama opposes the Constitution in general. He is the most radically destructive candidate of all time.
Indeed, passing new “fees” and “taxes” on weapons and ammunition would make them prohibitively pricey. Then, banning their sale within X number of miles of a school would put numerous gun dealers (pawn shops, gun shows) out of business. But that would only mean that the Black Market in weapons would thrive.
If “Great Leader” really wants to get rid of guns, he’d have to order their confiscation (he’d probably offer some sort of buy-back first) of all weapons. Would he do that? Sure he would, if he thought he’d get away with it.
I would imagine, however, that there are thousands upon thousands of people, like me, who would not answer the knock at the door, or would not willingly hand over our only means of self defense, and/or would not be silent — nor particularly peaceful (if push came to shove).
Like Heston, I would say (without bravado, but on principle) “from my cold, dead hands.”

Let’s not forget that Obama’s hero, Saul Alinsky, told his disciples that they should do everything they can to hide their true intentions. More and more, Obama reminds me of Castro. Castro did not reveal his Marxist side until after he had overthrown the government.
Is that a 240? All the tacti-cool crap makes it hard for me to tell.
