If the media were truly as defending of the First Amendment as they claim to be, they would refuse to sell Obama air time over incidents like this.

It's bound to backfire, sooner or later....hopefully sooner. What happens when enough stations decide they've had enough? If one station is treated badly, it's just a matter of time before the other ones will be.
They will hang together, or hang separately, but hang they will.
