If the Democrats have a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate you can count on it. The scenario I envision is that there will be the inevitable repeat of Columbine or Va. Tech to which the Democrats will call for the ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of all semi-automatic weapons. This will include shotguns as well as pistols and rifles. They will throw in a national firearms registration provision for good measure.

That sounds just like a novel I wrote.

I read that and the pit in my stomach dropped. My ancestors in central Europe believed that they were living with happy-go-lucky beer drinkers famous for poetry and romantic symphonies, and they willingly stepped into the trains and were transported into extinction via poison gas. Here we are again.

I am not eager for death, but I am also not willing to step into the train and voluntarily send myself to be murdered by the state. My town is even smaller than yours, and more remote, and I can’t imagine what it would take to get anyone to come up here to the edge of the treeline and take my moose gun - which killed plenty of Germans in its day. I do not want to die, but if they are standing at my door to disarm me, I will cry because I will miss my son, but I will also pray that my sacrifice is his chance for living a free man. If the Jews had killed one Nazi for each Jew taken to die, maybe the Third Reich would have fallen a lot sooner. I’ll keep that in mind as I defend my liberty, even to death.

You forget that at least half of the American people will cheer Oprah’s Obama throughout his administration no matter what he does. He won’t be vulnerable in 2012, and the clintoids know it because the liberals will shill for him no matter what.

The fools who vote for Obama and the rest of the Demo Socialists (Pelosi, Biden, Kennedy, Schumer, Reid, Rangel, Frank, etc.) think they will receive free medical care, free retirements, free housing, free food, free vacations, free education ....

They like to hear that someone else, such as “the rich” or “big oil” will pay more taxes. The fools don’t realize that high corporate taxes are passed along in the form of higher prices, and that there are not enough “rich” taxpayers to pay for all the socialist programs.

The Demo Socialists and their ignorant constituents have learned absolutely nothing from the collapse of the former USSR.
