As a lifelong Caucasian, I am beginning to think the time has finally come to take the right to vote away from white people, at least until we come to our senses. Seriously, I just don't think we can be trusted to exercise it responsibly anymore. p
I give you Exhibit A: The last eight years. In 2000, Bush-Cheney stole the election, got us attacked, and then got us into two no-exit wars. Four years later, white people reelected them. Is not the repetition of the same behavior over and over again with the expectation of a different outcome the very definition of insanity? (It is, I looked it up.) Exhibit B is any given Sarah Palin rally.

I’d rather that people who don’t pay taxes should not be allowed to vote.
Perhaps some areas should lose their right to vote for periods of time, but as a regional group rather than as a race. Perhaps the country could put it to a vote — what county/city deserves to lose its right to vote for the next ten years? I’ve been nominating Detroit to be the first target:

DETROIT — As dozens of onlookers gathered, and some cheered, three men pulled a woman from her car, ripped off her clothes, then chased her until she either jumped or was forced off a bridge to her death. None of the 40 or so passersby tried to help Deletha Word during the confrontation that began with two minor traffic accidents early Saturday on Belle Isle, said police Sgt. John Morel.
A man who arrived late tried to rescue her from the Detroit River but couldn’t reach her. The 33-year-old woman’s body, missing a leg, was found several miles downstream later that morning.
But perhaps it should now be the murder capital, Chicago.

This is sarcasm, right? I started LOL-ing at the phase “stole the election”.
I actually know this a-hole. I once spent an evening at an Irish bar with him. Having done that I can only imagine the thrill of any normal Pennsylvanian forced to split a kielbasi with him. Anyone that had to spend a weekend in the woods hunting with this condescending fathead has my profound sympathy.
