Here are the percentages by party:

Democrat - 39%
Independent - 32%
Republican - 24%

That’s really all that needs to be said.

Did a quick "back of the Excel spreadsheet" calculation on this: they sampled at least 16% more D than R and likely 20% more (assuming 30% Independents, 10% D and 10% R voting for the opposite candidate).

Republican - 24%

The above is fruit of hitting the Obama crack pipe over and over again.

What a joke.

More Independents than Republicans. Right! CNN will probably start using this poll in their ticker soon enough.

Media is putting out some ugly numbers. Bush lost Oregon by a small margin in ‘00 and 4% in ‘04. One poll has Obama up 19% here and Gordon Smith trailing by 5. Losing Oregon to Obama is not a big deal. Losing Senator Smith and having a filibuster proof Senate is.

And as planned this goes in to the RCP mix and jumps Husseins average up. Believe me the left is working in concert with all the media and other liberal pollsters to orchestrate the widest possible lead on paper they can, for the express reasson of depressing the turnout.

They will all have to answer for it later.

Heh. A registered voter poll. If Obama is really ahead by 16 then he's ahead with likely voters by 20+. Does any one outside Pew think that's really credible?

Does anyone know what poll was closest to being correct in the past?

Wow - 15% more D than R and that’s with 5% unaccounted for.
My quick calculation was 16% at a minimum, which may be the truth number accounting for the undeclared 5%. Amazing amounts of nonsense this year!

They saw the RCP average tightening and couldn’t handle. So they had to produce a poll that would bring it back to Hussein +8.

When both candidates were in States carried by Bush in ‘00 and ‘04, the media wouldn’t shut up about it.

Today — they’re both in Pennsylvania, a Gore/Kerry state. Haven’t heard any mention of the fact that Obama’s spending his last days defending Kerry territory.

Someone would have to be a complete f*****g moron to believe, or think that other people will believe, that this race is going to be that much of a blowout in either direction.
