Bob Shrum has made an addition to the ever-growing list of things you can't utter about Obama, because it's racist: don't you dare say Obama's never done anything hard.
The veteran Dem strategist issued his diktat while debating Ed Rogers, former aide to Pres. Bush 41, on today's Hardball. Shrum seized on and distorted Rogers' statement, manifestly made in the politcal sense, that Obama had "never done one hard thing," to play the race card.

Shrum is disgusting. WTH was he doing playing the “race card” there??? It was obvious in the context that the issue was whether Obama had ever achieved and big political/legislative triumph (NO), any great reconciliation of opposed interests (NO), etc. The point was not whether Obambi had ever faced any difficulty in his life (though that’s debateable) but whether he has ever provided evidence that he can reconcile competing interests etc. to achieve passage of a major bill or accomplish something politically, administratively etc. that people thought could not be done.
The answer, obviously, is NO, Obama has never done anything like that in his life.
To make a statement about that into a “race” issue is simply loathsome.
Shrum is a leftist idiot. Another stupid Obama enabler. A person who believes socialism will really work this time, despite all evidence to the contrary.
