what shays is saying works in mccains favor. those that are going to vote for him, will regardless of what he says, but undecided voters may find mccains perceived negativity as a bad thing.
so he “agrees” with them and then says he is experienced, what is needed to solve the nations probs, a true maverick, great presidential material, independent thinking..... talks about how much he admires the man. this works great on all those undecided voters and moderate dems. think about it!
