PHILADELPHIA -- Major League Baseball is going ahead with World Series Game 5.
Two days after Philadelphia and Tampa Bay were suspended after 5½ innings because of rain with the score 2-2, the game was set to resume at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday, baseball spokesman Rich Levin said.
The game time temperature was forecast to be about 40 degrees -- with a wind chill about 10 degrees colder.

I think I’ll skip both and watch a “Sanford and Son” re-run. I just love it when he clutches his chest and says, “I’m comin’ Weezie!”
I'd probably take some of that action. I don't know this (I'm sure others do) but I'd guess The One has taped the entire presentation, lest he do it live and let slip with his plans for re-education camps and nationalization of all assets.

There could be 3 feet of snow on the field tonight and they’ll still play the game, just so The ONE gets his audience.

Baseball leaders gone $ mad. This game started with the Phila allstar shortstop running all over the infield trying to get under a pop fly blowing all over the place with the rain coming down in his face. PS He was charged with an error. Tonight they might get the baseball mixed up with a snowball.

Yesterday there wasn’t even a drop of rain after 5PM til at least 9PM when I last looked. Why didn’t they play then? Oh that’s right Bud Selig a Democrat supporter wanted to make sure that Obama got his opportunity to speak to PA and FLA sports fans...
