Charlie Daniels still puts on a great show - saw him in OKC last year. He is a true Patriot.
I was wondering if anyone else had run into this. I was amazed to recently hear a 30-something describe 1984 as a warning about the excesses of corporatism. Global Corporatism Run Amok was the working interpretation he had learned at college.
All I could do was point out that INGSOC was Newspeak for ENG-lish SOC-ialism. I was otherwise speechless. Where and how do you begin to overcome such conditioning?
As a service to these benighted folks, candidates on the right must stop letting the Marxist define the terms and must, absolutely must, start calling this particular spade what it is: a bloody shovel.
It's not spreading, sharing, or redistributing anything. It's the baldfaced, unchecked, cold-blooded THEFT of every citizen's private property, however meager it may be, and the crushing of any hope for personal betterment.

Some pablum about how the indians would walk away from the tribe when they knew they were a burden....and tried to use a rationale, well it’s good enough for the indians.
The idiot probably had tenure then and that was more than a decade ago. Every now and then he puts in a letter to the editor and proves he’s just as stupid as he was back then, or what my grandfather would call...an “educated idiot”.
Most of what he describes is already happening in Europe. There’s no room for speculation any more - the dystopian future is now.
