North Charleston, S.C. - For a 93-year old North Charleston woman, casting her vote was a matter of life and death.
>snip<
She made her mark, and we put it in the envelope, my brother and I walked to the mailbox, it was 11 oclock Wednesday morning and I said Mom its in the mail, youve done your thing, Baracks going to win, and she kind of smiled and it was kind of a deep sigh, a sigh of relief, and in less than an hour later, she died, said M. Fitzgerald.

See, dead people do vote. Any comments on the Constitutionality of this?

I hate to tell them this but if you die before election day your vote does not count. Someone in that area please call the local Board of Elections and inform them of her death.

You should keep your DUish comments to yourself. You make us all look like cretins when you talk like that.

Four years ago, we got treated to a dying Kerry voter who was sure her wish would be granted. Oops - they come out like clockwork with this same dying woman votes for the Democrat trope every four years. Here we go again!

I think I recall reading an article saying that early voting or abesntee ballots submitted by voters who die before election day are valid.
I am sure it doesn’t happen often enough for it to make a difference. I’m more worried about dead voters casting their ballots from beyond the grave, without their knowledge, with the help of ACORN.
To: LuxMaker
ABC news...what else did you expect.
A heart touching story about McCain/Palin? Yeah, right, that that will ever happen.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that ballot can be challenged. The voter has to be eligible on election day, and the dead are not eligible voters, no matter what the rats say.

The march to a tyrannical Communist regime knows no right.
This is typical of all the “save us” movements where a charismatic leader is chosen ... and turns the place to a complete and utter hell. Germany, Russia, China, Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Cambodia, etc.
The problem is that Obama will legalized up to 30 millions illegal immigrants who will, of course, vote Democrat in appreciation. We will NEVER get rid of Obama and the Dems.
We should only refer to the Dems as the Communist Party or the National Socialist Party from now on.
To: LuxMaker
Seems that there MUST be a law about how the voter must be ALIVE on the day of the election...
Oh well, her vote counts NO MORE or NO LESS than mine :P
To: LuxMaker; All
... And she will continue to vote in future elections, if ACORN is still in business.

She was 93. One has to question her state of mind at the time of voting. I think voting like driving, should require frequent testing in later years to determine fitness.

If she had voted repubbie, the media would have ignored the story.
WHEN the democrats (ACORN/union goons) force retirees/invalids to vote democrat (as has happened many times in nursing homes and invalid “remote-get-out-the-vote walk-ins) the media ignore the fraudulent activity.

“See, dead people do vote. Any comments on the Constitutionality of this”
I would think, any time after the vote is successfully completed (her actions have been completed), it would be completely legal. I don’t know of it happening, but if they have to carry you out of the booth after you pull the lever, you have voted.
I would never judge this particular voter, I am admonished not to, but I will say she now sees things she appearly never contemplated.

The next story you will see is something like...
Before going into intensive care four weeks ago, my Grandma made her mark and asked me to put her absentee ballot in the mail for her.
My Grandma can't speak right now as she is unconscious, but if she could, she would say that BHO is the promised messiah that we have all been looking for.
I know this can't be verified, but trust me. Yah... Yah... That's the ticket.

It's amazing the boilerplate stories the MSM brushes off every election...
- The extremely old voter who struggles to the poles, to vote Dem
- The "lifelong Republican" voter who is voting Dem "for the 1st time" (except they happen to be maxed out on Dem contributions)
- The dying wish voter. Always Dem.
- The celebrity Dem endorsement stories
- The celebrity threatening to leave country if Republican wins story

That is exactly why I said what I said. For this woman to make her dying act one that helps ruin our country is beyond selfish and despicable. I see no reason to praise those who would do things to destroy this country.

For the record, I want everyone to be happy and throw a party preferably, when I die, for I know where I am going. :)
I also recognize that we are here on this Earth for only a very short time when put in the perspective of eternity. We are only here for but a breath of time.
On another note, I searched through the U.S. Constitution on voting and this looks perfectly legal from that standpoint.

But, you can point out the political manipulation without being snarky.

It makes sense to have some level of comprehension in order to vote at any age. Except, that’s not the way it works. One (wo)man, one vote. Any age, any level of stupidity.
To: whitedog57
They have to legalize illegals to make up for the potential Democrats they’ve aborted. The same rationale applies to pandemic voter fraud and suppression of conservative voting blocs such as the military. Boundless evil has engendered many handmaidens.

This story is such BS its sickening. Im sure Jesus met her at the pearly gates and said “Well done thou good and faithful servant, thou hast voted for the black messiah so thy sins which are many are now forgiven....enter into the rest of thy Lord.” The person who wrote the shit should be ashamed of themselves.

My mother in law is 85, she was going to vote McCain before my brother in law ( a Catholic priest ) changed her mind. According to your thinking, I should find my mother in law selfish and despicable???? This still is a free country, I don't have to like their votes, but they are entitled to them.

In my state, the votes of the dead are discounted IF elections officials are aware that they died between casting an absentee ballot and election day. If the same holds true in this state, election officials are duty bound to discard this woman's vote.

Mom its in the mail, youve done your thing, Baracks going to win, No press bias here!!! This is likely to be the last meaningful election in America. Even if McCain wins, it may just be a speed bump for the left. With their projected massive majorities in congress, control of the judiciary seems well within reach even with a McCain administration. Judicial impeachment or its threat combined with an ironclad control of appointments bodes no good.
However, the press will tell us what they want us to believe.
