The La Times and other does not care one bit. They are all losing their jobs in the near future and want to go out doing the same thing that got them were they are.

Checking in here from the morning session. A little before 10:00 am I rolled up to scattered FReepers and other protesters who were milling about on the southwest corner of the Times Building, when RonDog showed up and tried to organize some of us. Like herding cats.

We all walked to the eastside of the building and sorta set up shop, picked up some hand-made signs, and started chanting “No Tape, No Peace” and “LA Times, Shame on You” and other cool slogans. People walking by seemed amused, and everyone was very respectful to LEO and any other passersby.

Times’ employees, however, seemed a little unnerved by the attention.

Supporters continued honking their horns, and after about 25 minutes, I had to get back to work, so I left quietly.

Media was there, but I haven’t a clue which ones.

Time well spent with very nice, enjoyable people and a splendid FReep. I think there will more activity later this afternoon.

My 2 Cents.

Thanks for the info!

Glad to hear there were no problems and the LAtimes noticing the protest. Getting into on the news would be great for your efforts.

Can’t expect much from an organization that subcontracts to employers who hire illegal aliens labor to deliver their papers, most of which lack auto insurance...Several of which have caused injury to American citizens while delivering the Los Angeles Times, which the LAT is well aware of.
