I prefer looking at exit polls coming from Florida. Dems are outpolling the GOP, yet McCain is in the lead. In 2004, John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) was 16 points ahead in early voting polling.

But party breakdowns for turnout aren't the same as final tallies, and at least one poll offered a different view for the campaign of Republican John McCain. A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.

I didn’t believe exit polls in ‘04 and I sure don’t believe them in ‘08.

FWIW Quinnipac (sp?) has Obama up in exit polling by a substantial margin in Florida.

I don’t believe them either.
