Understanding that black liberation theology is Marxism dressed up to look like Christianity helps explain why there is no conflict between Cone's "Christianity" and Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam." They are two prophets in the same philosophical (Marxist) pod, merely using different religions as backdrops for their black-power aims.

I don’t know if this is possible, but if a copy of next Thursday’s ABC TV Show Life on Mars could be pirated out early it might have some interesting effect. The series involves a 2008 NYPD Detective who finds himself in the same role in NYC 1973. Next week’s episode involves the Black Panthers, cop killings and radicals. Just the thing to give people a taste of the way things were in the sleepy world of Ayers,Mansour, the Panthers, and Percy Sutton, who hid his radicalism in plain sight as a leading Dem pol and who often spoke of the need to develop a cult of personality, though he never mentioned Stalin, and neither has Obama.
