Northern Star Rising- (WashPo Admits What we Know About Sarah)
Wasington Post ^ | 10-31-08 | Robinson

Posted on 10/30/2008 10:05:06 PM PDT by Wegotsarah.com

My view of Sarah Palin has changed in the two months since John McCain named her as his running mate.

I thought Palin was a lightweight; she's not. I thought she was an ingenue; she is, but only as long as her claws are sheathed. I thought she was bewildered and star-struck...; if she ever was, she isn't anymore. I thought she was nothing but raw political talent and unrealistic ambition; it turns out that she has impressive political skills. I thought she was destined to become nothing more than a historical footnote; I now think that Democrats underestimate her at their peril........

It's tempting to think of Palin as a kind of pop star, the latest flash in the pan who rockets to the top of the charts...[b]ut that smug assessment ignores the evidence that she has the chops to be much more than a one-hit wonder......

The McCain campaign gave her a job to do -- slash, burn, fire up the base... and she went out and did it.

McCain's campaign rallies often have a sense of purpose and duty about them; Palin's have a sense of electricity.

Some of McCain's people {put her down] and all of which reinforces my belief that Palin is a much more formidable politician than I first thought.

Ignorance isn't the same thing as stupidity. When Palin talks about economic policy these days, her sentences don't meander...She has more to say about foreign policy...She has learned much in a very short period.

And she will learn more. I predict we'll have Sarah Palin to kick around for a long, long time.

Heck y'all, I just can't help wondering if Ms Cindy McCain wasn't behind the selection of Sarah.

Little John, the maverick, does not seem the type nor have the history of including women in his circle jerk.

I recall how he snarled at Maria Shriver in 2000 when she was playing “reporterette for a day” and approached him backstage at one of the debates. I'm thinking he likes the company of real men, you know, big Joe Liberman and that real killer guy, Lindsey Graham.

I say put Sarah way up front with her family and bring Cindy along just leave John snoring in the back of the bus.

I wrote a letter to that idiot

Mr. Robinson:

I am glad to see that your eyes have been opened concerning Sarah Palin. The night she gave her acceptance speech I walked into my livingroom where the TV was on and found myself mesmerized by her. I never thought I would even consider a female for the position of President or Vice President. As a woman myself I didn’t think many women had the mettle for it, but 5 minutes into her speech I realized I was wrong. This woman is different.

Those of you on the left are so steeped in deception you wouldn’t know sincerity if it bite you on the toe. Truth is something that totally eludes you and the very thought of a politician that not only tells you what they believes but demonstrates it in their own life is something you could never understand. Governor Palin is not a fabrication of some political operative; she is a real person that has lived a real life with all its ups and downs. Everything she has and is she acquired on her own and did it honestly. That too is probably very difficult for you to understand.

You think you will have her to kick around for a long time? Well sir, she will indeed be around for a long time, but if you intend to do any kicking I will suggest that you wear steel toed boots to protect your feet.

In the meantime, how about vetting your candidate as well as you have vetted Governor Palin. I think it’s about time, after all the election is only 5 days away.

Most Sincerely,

How long did it take after Kennedy was killed before we knew about the underground tunnels he used to shuffle his women in and out?

Palin's have a sense of electricity.

And Biden's have a sense of ennui, sheer boredom, wonkishness and drear, all the while waiting for the next serious gaffe.

Rush Limbaugh calls McCain “Yosemite Sam” and we have to pull him across the finish line.

Sarah Palin is a leader. She’s not a community organizer; she’s not a mediater; she is a leader.

This guy is such an a**hole. Talk about back handed compliments. He admits she’s a force to be reckoned with, but then paints her as a power mad diva who demanded all those fancy clothes. What nonsense. She’s nothing if not a team player. She went out of her way to defend Nicole Wallace in the WSJ article yesterday. She wouldn’t point the figure at anyone in the campaign.

The guy admits to her electricity, but he thinks she’s an idiot when it come to policy. While some may disagree, remember that he says he disagrees with her across the board.

He hates the way she is electrifying the crowd, undeniably the party.

Oh he’ll pay here some vacant compliments, but this stooge will sooner or later be back to attack her with every ounce of his energy.

To hell with dumb a—es like this.

All the Palin’s-an-idiot is typical lib/Dem propaganda they use on every Pubbie. Of course Palin was behind the curve for a while on a lot of inside Washington folderol. Heck, she’s been governing a state for two years not palling around with the usual beltway morons. No governor, unless they’ve been in Washington as part of an admin or elected official, can possibly know all the ins and outs. Palin is a fast learner, but far more important she understands what makes the country tick.

Let’s see, good looking. Poised, confident, intelligent, a great speaker and I’d bet the farm Saracuda could kick either Biden or obammas ass in a fair fight.

She has star power, that is for sure.

The DemocRATS are and will continue to be scared of her.

Let me amend that. There was talk and maybe an obscure book or two much earlier, but, as “common knowledge” I would say 15-20 years.

The Washington Post must think Obama's going to win - and their putting out a little "fairness" to try to salvage MSM damaged reputation. Well, IT'S TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE.

JFK may have had “it”, but he cheated Nixon out of the presidency. Read up on that some time. He was a media creation, much like Obama.

And it was the Chicago Machine that cheated the election for Kennedy and it's trying to do the same for Obama. (The FBI will stop them this time.)
