This is great, it takes courage top speak out in Hollywood. The more the better and I have seen her on TV a lot of times telling off Sean Penn and others that make friends with Hugo Chavez.

It’s not relevant to my voting decision, but it is relevant to my entertainment decisions. If given the choice between movies with James Woods, Maria Alonso, Robert Downing on one side and Tim Robbins, Sean Penn and George Clooney on the other ... Well, guess which I will pick?
I hope someone in the McCain camp sees this and GETS THIS WOMAN IN AN AD PRONTO! She’s LIVED under the Obama political philosophy and can attest to the life we can expect under Obama’s boot.

Great idea..she could really help in Florida. However I think that most Cubans already are in agreement with her.

As a teenager, I was *seriously* smitten with Alonso after seeing her in The Running Man and Moscow on the Hudson.

her endorsement comes as a result of experiencing really repressive governments-she brought this up when ridiculing Sean Penn(this was before the campaign)for sucking up to Chavez-she said they put on a show for useful idiots from Hollywood,who never see life as it really is there-she is apparently a staunch anti-communist,and not a bad actress either-she actually played opposite Penn in “Colors”
