I have to wonder if Putin, Kim, Ahmadinajad, al qaeda, etc aren’t sitting back laughing thinking they will be able to walk all over this guy. If he won’t even take some tough questions from a friendly media, how is he going to deal with the evil in the world? What a joke. It would almost be funny if we weren’t gambling with our future security.
Throw off the plane the reporters from papers that endorsed McCain. Yeah, real mature move. So I guess when he is president and takes a little hear he thinks he can just throw people out. That won’t work when he is in the White House. Damn scary. Oh, but the “conservative” Andrew Sullivan says his cool demeanor will carry him through any crisis. Right.
Arguing the fairness doctrine when they have won the Presidency and both houses of Congress? Will they argue that without that pesky, right-wing, unfair talk radio they would have won even more? Wouldn’t their very victory prove that there is no need for a fairness doctrine? Seems like a catch-22. If they lose they have no power to impose a fairness doctrine, if they win, they have no basis to argue that unfairness (to them) has done any actual harm.
