Obama Drawing Twice As Many Searches As McCain (Bad news for 'bam)

Yahoo mined their search data and reports:

• In the past week, Senator Obama has drawn more than twice as many queries as Senator McCain.

• That's not necessarily all positive, as the nature of the queries indicate that people still have a lot of questions -lookups range from questions about his biography to his birth certificate, from his grandmother to his gun control platform.

Indeed, according to HitWise, for the four weeks ending October 25, 2008 "barack obama birth certificate" was the fourth-most common search term driving traffic to BarackObama.com. "Barack Obama Antichrist" comes in at 26.

At least people are asking questions, which is a lot more than you can say for the news media.

Oh, another thought. One theory of the pundits is that if the election can be made to be about Obama and a referendum on him (rather than Bush or the economy, for example), McCain wins.

I noticed yesterday on Yahoo that Obama was #6 on the search list and socialism was #10.

Is there something significant in the fact that "official barack obama website" and "barack obama antichrist" both scored 0.05%? As did "barack obama mask" with "barack obama muslim" edging them out slighly at 0.07%.

Both of Obama’s grandmothers are rather different, by American standards. His maternal grandmother is a communist, was married to a communist, and both allowed their grandson Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama to be “mentored” by an admitted child rapist, who is also (no surprises here) a communist.

His paternal grandmother, as peculiar as this sounds, is widely believed by Christians in Kenya to be something of a witch. She’s apparently prone to sacrificing chickens to help Obama’s election chances. One instance reportedly involved sacrificing both black and white ones, in order to put black and white voters under a spell to vote for Obama.

The man himself is such a cipher, such an unknown, and that is cause enough for discomfort, but a trip to grandma’s house in the Obama family is a long, long way from what you or I would envision.

I can't believe how many people have no idea Obama is fighting to keep his birth certificate sealed. That list includes my daughter's high school history teacher. He told her she didn't know what she was talking about when she asked him about it. On Monday she will go to class and tell him to look up the lawsuit Berg vs Obama.
