Did Rivera make that prediction because he thinks the “Fairness Doctrine” would be passed, or because he thinks their audiences would naturally dissipate?

There will be a blood bath, if they try to stop talk radio.

Rivera didn’t say. He simply said that he predicts the end of talk radio, which the right dominates. That’s my guess Rivera believes the Un”Fairness Doctrine” will become reality again.

“...because he thinks their audiences would naturally dissipate.””

Anyone that believes that is truly delusional.

Clinton’s 8 years did nothing but accelerate the growth of conservative media.

Outright censorship would be the only way to shut down the wildly and consistently successful Rush Limbaugh. Any attempt to censor right-leaning radio programs and internet sites, (conservative TV? what conservative TV?), media would be a rather large step toward civil war in this country.
