Doors Open at 6:30 a.m.
Sarah Palin, PING! :-)
And later that day - at noon at the Great River Center in Dubuque Iowa.
Illinois FReepers - this is your closest opportunity!
My HOME TOWN. My wife and I left Lakewood years before the Gold Coast went totally — and sadly — GAY (THANK GOD).
Hope a couple 100K folks turn out for Sarah.
Northeast Ohio PING, please! :-)
Sarah Palin will be in Marietta, Ohio tomorrow. Just across the bridge from Almost Heaven West Virginia. Let’s give her a big welcome !!!
See ya there!
Sarah will be on Canton Oh at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Doors open at 9am and rally starts at 11am.
Lakewood - that’s a little brave. Generally known as a “gay-friendly” community, it borders Cleveland’s west side. I don’t expect trouble from Lakewood-ites, but I can see a few Clevelanders protesting nearby. She’s hitting right in the middle of the leftist region in Cuyahoga county. Good!!
Maybe they’ll be too worn out to protest on Monday. My son’s in Cleveland this weekend and he says there is a big concert planned on the mall for Sunday (tomorrow) with Bruce Springsteen & Obama. Also a game at the stadium. So lots of activity on Sunday. Still, I’m surprised about Lakewood. I’d have thought they’d book her at the Cleveland Club or a larger venue for corp. folks and their staff.
Yeah, Springsteen has eaten the communist cheese, and will be showing up with Obambi. That makes Sarah's visit even more important. I don't know how big Lakewood park is in terms of how large a crowd can gather, but the park does total 31 acres. I've probably been there, but not for about 20 years!
I lived mostly on the east side, but worked downtown and lived briefly in North Olmstead and I don’t think I was ever at Lakewood park. Hopefully the weather will be nice, but it will probably be very cold that early in the morning. I don’t know...seems like an out of the way spot. I’d have picked some bustling place in town for a Monday morning rally. JMO, but I think even the Muny Lot would have been better than Lakewood. Maybe Cleveland wasn’t very receptive to hosting the Republican candidate.
I’m going to be there :)
Cool! Have fun! :-)
I was there.... great event...

Great event, and she’s even more beautiful in person.
