I'm not giving you a hard time, I'm just saying that once one figures out the dynamic of the board, it's reasonably simple not to miss a thing.

Before the whole There's-an-Election-around-the-corner-so-I-must-post-every-thought-I-have-as-a-vanity thing started, I could run though 24 hours worth of threads in about 30 minutes. What I do is make a note of the headline of a thread where I want to respond and come back to it after the "scan." Once I've responded the comment is "logged" in My Replies.

It's really not that difficult, but it requires a little discipline.
