My wife went to vote early last week and ran into one of those “poor people”. She asked my wife who she was voting for, and she told the lady none of her business. The lady told my wife she was voting for Uhbamuh because the media said McCain had already lost. Some people need to take an IQ test before voting.

I truly think that there are some folks who just simply should not vote....you’re right - an IQ test should be required...unbelieveable!!

There are a few elderly black folks that I keep an eye on because they are sweet and loving people, and their existing families don't really do what needs to be done.

One of these ladies is 89 years old and we were talking about life and things a few evenings ago. Living with her are her 77 year old disabled sister and an 86 year old first cousin.

This lady has always voted democrat and she knows no other way. Her family has always done so and it would never even occur to her to listen to what any other party had to say. Everyone besides democrat politicians have never done a good thing ... ever. Voting democrat is like breathing to these folks.

Earlier in her life, way back when, she was a hard-working woman with a large family. They probably received government assistance of some sort even then. Today, everybody in that household, as well as every other household we talked about, live on "checks". Government benefits. (In the interest of full disclosure ... she is always giving me commodity cheese and that stuff rocks!)

Nobody should mistake the fact that these people vote. Every election. If that is the only thing they get 'tow town' for in the month of November -- I guarantee you that it will be to vote. Everything they have (or don't have, to be more realistic) depends upon it. Odd thing is that if she called me and needed me to take her to the polls ... I'd do it. I have promised her that I will do whatever I can, whenever I can, for as long as I am able.

I just hope her youngest son will have the truck running next Tuesday.
