"I think there's a surge of support for Prop. 8 this weekend," said Michael Dowling, who runs the House of Prayer ministry in San Francisco....

I think your "surge of support" is a surge of vandalism.

We got a message from Bill Clinton on our phone/answering machine urging us to vote 'no' on prop 8. So much for 'don't ask, don't tell'.

What IS telling is that the only call I'll ever get from Bill Clinton asks me to support the destruction of marriage as we know it. What's next?

The Universal Destruction of the Fetus Act has been playing to mixed reviews. If we allow the Universal Destruction of Marriage Act to stand, it'll make two concessions to the Left with serious repercussions.

These things could eventually lead to the Universal Destruction of America Act. I often wonder if these people (including Diane Feinstein) are really so stupid as to pursue these "freedoms" without regard to their destructive potential? (their claim is to embrace 'equal' rights for 'everyone')

Freedom and liberty are not the same thing. Freedom means just that- like Nike, "just do it". Liberty is freedom with responsibility- to do something, as long as it doesn't infringe on another's 'liberty'.

Interpretation: The Left will pursue "freedoms" that ultimately will lead for a call to curb abuses which will require more policing.

Summary: Voting for a leftist candidate will invariably lead to a Police State. Obama, if elected (and he won't be) would have presided over an important phase in this country's journey toward totalitarianism.

Wish: More people like Sarah Palin sought public office.
