Now, if you don't want to be known as a troll, don't spread MSM lies about how NC is going to be lost to Obama, and that Dole is going to be beaten.

Sadly there is a lot of truth to that. She isn’t the mostly highly respected senator in North Carolina and she hasn’t built much of a reputation for getting things done. She also has a reputation for a terrible constituent services operation. Anyone who has been around NC long enough knows that one reason Jesse would always pull out close elections is that he ran one of the best constituent service operations Washington has ever seen. If you ever needed help with any bureaucracy, Jesse’s office would handle it for you. Even Dems I know gained respect for him and voted for him after having to use him for a passport or social security, etc issue.
Dole is a weak incumbent. There is no question about that. I think she pulls it off but the reason won’t be that people are excited about her. The reason will be that people don’t like Hagan and don’t want the Dems to get a big majority.

Depends on how they determine Democrat and Republican. NC always goes red but its because we have a lot of people who are too ashamed to admit they are Republicans. We have 2.9 million registered Dems and 2 million registered Rs. It makes no sense.

What doesn't make sense is overpolling Democrats when historically the State has gone 'Red'.
Clearly, these are conservative Democrats who are not going to vote nationally for a liberal Democrat.
She’s only been a senator for two terms. My goodness, she’s 75th in seniority. :) There are plenty of oldtimers who need booted before her - Kennedy, Kerry, Levin, Byrd, Dodd, Leahy...
At 75 Mrs. Dole along with a whole passel of other very old folks should not be in these offices.
And the number of terms has little to do with anything.
Just come to Florida and watch 75 year olds driving.

Voters SAY they hate negative ads, but negative campaignin g has been going on since Thomas Jefferson's campaign said that George Washington and John Adams were traitors working for England. Worked for Tom, works for everybody else. It can't do miracles, of course.
Looks like it wasn’t misinformation after all. Sometimes people living in states where things are actually happening know more than those who don’t live there.
