Let us all join together through the final days of this election, and particularly on Novemenr 3rd, in the midst of our hard work and individual prayers, and invoke God's Hand to be revealed in this election cycle...recognizing, as did Patrick Henry over 230 years ago that God is indeed involved in the affairs of man and nations, and as the Holy Scriptures themselves testify that He will indeed bless us if we turn to Him.

I submit, that God in Heaven has already begun raising up and bringing forth such friends and blessings. Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber have been brought forth out of relative obscurity and are helping make a large difference, going across the width and breadth of this nation generating large crowds of enthused people of all creeds, faiths, races, and stripes who hold fast to the traditional American values and prinicples that have made this nation what she is, and helped preserve her.

Many others, less known or visible to us are doing the same.

We must stand up and do our part in this election cycle, we must spread the word and, with reasoned dialog and a prayerful heart, educate all we know and come in contact with within our own spheres of influence regarding the import of this election and the unmitigated anti-Americanism, socialism, marxism, and assault on American values represented by the Obama campaign. We must then ask each of those we touch, to do the same.

Time is short, but if we are faithful, humble, and seek God's assistance in this, with His help we can succeed.

So, in this regard, realizing that I personally am no one of great import, but realizing that through those I know, and through those they know (and so forth and so on) that we can accomplish great good, I am encouraging people across the entire nation, to join together as all Judaeo-Christian faiths with those seeking the same, in the midst of our hard work, and in the midst of our individual prayers, to make November 3rd a day of fasting and prayer for our entire nation.

I believe with all my heart that there are enough sound minded people in this nation to make a difference if we can get them out...and we need help, we need His help, in finding them and touching their hearts.

This is my prayer:

Father in Heaven, please recognize our hard work and worthy efforts to defend the liberty and goodness of this land.

Please forgive us of our shortcomings and our lack of vigilance from time to time as evil has grown amongst us. Most of all, dear Father in Heaven, forgive us for not doing more, for not being even more active in standing against the slaughter of thy innocents by the forces of evil and death who have gained great power in our land to effect such evil...though we do recognize Thy Hand and the worthy work of millions as the tide has all too slowly turned against this evil.

Please bless those thou hast brought forth at this critical juncture in our nation's history, a nation long blessed by Thee as a bastion of liberty for the world, to both spread freedom, to spread thy Word, and to defend liberty throughout the world, despite our weaknesses. Give us the strength and the faith to help these friends turn back the current incarnation that has risen amongst us which would support evil in our land.

Bless us dear Father in Heaven with more such friends and allies that Thou callest forth, that we may jointly, together with Thy aid, put aside corruption, evil, and those who would bring abject compulsion, collectivism, and the destruction of individual choice and freedom in our land.

Recognize, fortify, and magnify our best efforts to join with Thee in this great work as we jointly fast and pray on November 3rd for Thy Hand to be revealed, in Jesus Name, Amen.

In so doing, we can all join with millions, who are individually doing the same and raise this petition to our Father in Heaven, whose merciful Hand can help us in this hour of need.

A Prayer for our Nation as we Prepare to Elect our Leaders

For nine days, from October 27 to Election Day (November 4), Priests for Life calls upon believers to participate in the “Election Novena” by saying the following prayer each day:

O God, we acknowledge you today as Lord,

Charles Stanley has an excellent sermon today on “In Touch”.

He’s talking about putting in leaders with no Biblical conviction. He doesn’t say it but you know he’s talking about Obama.

I’ve seen it run on at least 3 or 4 different channels since early this a.m. People should be able to catch it even this evening. Daystar channel carries it on broadcast signal.

I recommend it, especially for this week.

I agree 100%...and we can start now, with this election and turn back the tide of the Obamanation which would completely erode what progress we have worked hard to make over the last 35 years.

I rarely send out emails to my entire email list, but these times warrant such correspondence if any time ever did.

We face an election of monumental choice for our entire nation. The stakes for ourselves, and particularly for our children and their children could not be higher as abject and direct socialism and Marxism, a hardening of liberal lines in the horrific practice of abortion, and tremendous erosion on the fight to preserve the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman are close to being elected to power and established in law in our beloved Republic.

I have not stopped praying since Aug 29. The attacks we saw launched against Gov. Palin that week revealed the absolute evil of the opposing side.

Just for a few days the mask slipped off, and all of America was watching. God presented us with a clear choice between Good and Evil.

Starting on Monday I will begin a fast that will not end until Wednesday. I will be praying that God’s will be done - not that McCain be elected. We are a nation that has turned its back on God, why would God not discipline us? I hope McCain wins but we might need to go through some very hard times to appreciate Gods mercy and bounty to America, which is what we had when this country was founded.

Millions and millions have not turned their backs on God, but like you (and God bless you for your prayer and fast) are supplicating Him for His guidance and help.

He was prepared to save Sodom and Gomorah for the sake of fifty. I believe, and am petitoning Him with all my heart that He preserve America for the sake of tens of millions.

Who knows that He will not? I know He can, and pray He will, but am prepared in all things to accept His will and keep on working whatever the outcome, patiently waiting for His arm to be revealed.

We are on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade in this nation. A,long hard struggle that many of us have waged for 35+ years. I pray and seek God's aid in keeping that from happening and in stopping that slaughter for His sake. Perhaps He shall hear and honor our prayers of humilty and faith.

If we work hard enough, pray sincerely enough, and have faith, per chance we will not have to revert to the older saying here on our own soil.

Even if millions and millions have not turned their back, what does it say that millions and millions have? Think of where we are today - Churches supporting abortion and homsexual marriage, our government banning all instances of God or Jesus, our addiction to pornography, pervert ism and celebrities, etc....... Eventhough many are devout, repentful and faithful Christians/Jews many, many, many are not. We are country largely run by a very liberal jewish monopoly - banks, media, hollywood - not an attack just stating the truth. We have allowed this liberal influence (under the guise of Diversity and Tolerance) to destroy our culture our sense of reason and our precepts of faith.

I share your desire that our prayers be answered however I know that although God is loving he is also a just God and shall expect justice for our sins - otherwise there is no hell and there is no free will - which is contrary to scripture.

God is in control, I pray that his will be done, regardless of the outcome. We will have leftist congress and perhaps an extremely leftist president - if so then we need to work harder than ever to be a light in the darkness and a voice in the wilderness - something we have not done in the past and allowed us to be fooled by our leaders to accept communism for freedom. I will double my efforts not to give an inch - I will not be silent no longer.

Of course we have free will...and of course there will be justice. The blood of sixty million cries to God in Heaven for it.

But He may yet, with so many still faithful to Him, use us as the tool and instrument in His Hand to bring it about.

We are close on Roe v. Wade and on educating others...I pray that He wil, but will nonetheless always accept His will.

I am convinced the Lord has been hearing our prayers - just look at the polls. Evil cannot exist where there is Light. Notice how evil’s ugly face is becoming more and more exposed as our prayers as a nation are being heard!

I share your hope. We will see, either way I will recommit myself to speak out and our churches MUST speak out, as long as they stay on the sidelines then we shall continue on this path to the cliff. Either we are free or we are not - churches that abide by the law, and remain silent in our culture war, for financial reasons are neither a church nor Godly.
