It’s the old,”chicken voting for COL.Sanders”.
Kind of agree.
I would love to buy a Cooper rifle, but won’t now (probably couldn’t afford one for years anyway). But let the guy be an idiot if he wants to be.
I can understand the board’s move though. Mr. Cooper just doomed the company (see what happened to Smith and Wesson for an example).
Lake Woebegone, where every child is above average.
You were pretty much out of it when there was a thread about your condition made and we placed you on our Prayer list... You're still on it my FRiend!
As I said, it's good to see you soldiering on through all of it!
“Political beliefs” is not a protected class like race or sexual orientation. You are wrong. Period.
What is the new owners position on the same isssues? I’d like to know who “our friends “ are before I put money down.
> You need to worry about the gun-grabbers in your own little island and let us deal with moron CEOs here.
On the contrary, mate: after Tuesday’s election YOU may need to worry about gun-grabbers AS WELL AS your moron CEOs, thanks to disorganized “Conservatives” such as yourself.
Unlike the United States, Conservatives on our “own little island” had their act together and will be electing a proper right-of-center government. Law & Order is a major plank for them, and gun-grabbing is not on the new gummint’s agenda.
Enjoy.
In order to have organization you must have leadership. On this front American conservative have (at least) two problems.
Problem One is that the structure of our more conservative party is in fact controlled by an establishment of eastern, urban liberals. They do a good job of making sure that conservative candidates have limited public exposure and access to fund raising opportunities.
Problem Two is that the means of propaganda here are controlled by the left. For an example of what happens when a new conservative leader steps forward I will refer you to our press’s reaction to the recent introduction of Governor Sarah Palin. The truth is not a mandatory element of any media excoriation campaign.
Some of are beginning to fear that things will get worse here before they get better. The question is, how bad?
Good luck to the National Party on Saturday.
> Good luck to the National Party on Saturday.
Amen and thankyou. They are going well: John Key did much better than Auntie Helen in yesterday’s Leader’s Debate. Auntie Helen was looking tired and old. Just possibly National will win an outright majority (coalitions are more common in NZ).
National got both of my votes last week (I voted early).
Cheers mate

‘Strewth, I hope not! Obama is like one great, big nitemare.
If Frederick Forsythe had created him for one of his spy-thriller novels, nobody would have believed it! A Marxist-Muslim-Terrorist-Sympathizing-Foreign-Born-Mulatto-Street-Agitating-Chicago-Machine-National-Socialist comes onto the scene from nowhere and runs for POTUS and about half the country is right behind him!
Characters like Obama can only happen in real life. I don’t think it could get much worse!
Let’s hope and pray God has better things in store for America. McCain could turn out to be a pleasant surprise.
God Bless America

They’re ignoring the agreement and they poured money into the NRA.
What kind of Smith were you interested in buying? Did you know even Smith has an AR-15?
Believe me, I hope not too. If Obama wins it could be a disaster not just for the US but for the rest of the freedom loving peoples in the world too.
The best I hope for from McCain is that he choose worthy successor and I believe he has. He could do worse than to go down in history as American Nerva. Though I'll vote for McCain, he's is not a conservative and where I live we have seen first hand how bad a leftist state governor who is nominally a Republican can be. No matter how it goes on Tuesday I don't think the next four years will be good for America.
