I’ve had several polling calls this last week. I’ve given them incorrect information each time.
I’m tired of polls, I’m tired of the media leading us by the nose with polls. I participate by voting.
I do too. I also give false information for the same reasons you do.
I would ask people to not lie to pollsters. It certainly doesn't help our campaign folks when already unreliable polls are further spiked by our folks saying that they are voting for Obama!
That can mean literally a campaign pulling out of an entire state even if a *very* few people tell that lie to a pollster. Polls are generally done on very small samples, and each polled person that gets counted in can be as much 0.2% of a poll --- just 7 people can move such a poll from 50.6% - 49.4% to 49.2% to 50.8% the other way.
We don't have any other resource except polls to judge our efforts. Please don't artificially make Obama make appear stronger --- I can tell you that it is simply shooting ourselves in the feet when you do that.
