You missed the Creationist-Evolutionist threads and the Civil War threads, I take it, lol.
Even so, the absolutely foul language and personal attacks, so common (and I do mean common) on DU, have never been allowed here, thanks to the moderators.
They are a little mean over there, but unless you were lurking here before your sign-up date and saw for yourself, things got pretty nasty at times here during the primaries.

Ask some of the oldtimers what it used to be like here. Or check out the "FReeper Lore" thread. Regular Mods didn't exist before September, 2001. It was quite a show sometimes.

You would have had you tried to speak well of Rudy last year. Who btw I still think would have made a pretty good president and would have fought Obama a lot more aggressively then McCain has.
