Well Obama has invested heavily in getting the early vote out. He should in fact have a substantial lead based on that investment.

This may be a strong early indicator that things will not fall his way. Should he go down in flames, this will be cited as the historical factor that was important to his defeat.

The media of course will not cite this. It’s the last thing they want to do.
But we should note it. This should be significant.

The other thing he needed was high young voter turnout.
It was not happening in the EV tallies that I saw.

What I DID hear (anecdote) on my GOTV call was a dear old 82-year-old woman so scared of Obama she bought McCain-Palin signs for her whole street and was determined to vote on election day.

I think other than african-american turnout, I dont see a Dem advantage wrt turnout.

We shall see.
