Fox News Channel has just announced that Obama's Grandmother, who has been ill, has passed away. That is all I learned.
I would like to thank the GOPies that have the class to wish Barak condolences . Good for you and thanks from a democrat and Obama supporter.

He said he could no sooner distance himself from Jeremiah Wright than his grandmother. Now she’s a sweet old lady?
None of us wished her ill. But Barack seemed distant to his only living ancestor.

As a person who has had more than one family member die from cancer, I am totally outraged at your comments. You and the other “thugs” in this thread that insinuate that she was euthanized, that she died “conveniently”, that she was murdered, or that the “plug was pulled” - even the few “on ice posts” should be totally ashamed of yourselves. It doesn’t matter whether the person is Obama’s grandmother, or an unknown American - that person should be afforded the dignity a human being deserves.
I’ll tell you this. Had I been undecided, and reading this site to see what you had to say about Senator McCain or Senator Obama, I would have totally been put off of voting for McCain.
Do you really think Senator McCain and Governor Palin would approve of what you people have written? A lot of people - Republicans and Democrats booed the lady that refused to give kids candy if their parents didn’t support McCain. Several Republican candidates for local office here have discussed the disgust they had for that activity. If they saw this thread, they would say that this thread makes that lady look like the Fairy Godmother.
I hope to God that you NEVER have a family member diagnosed with Cancer. However, if you do, I hope to God that you receive the same treatment as this man’s family has had on this thread so that you would realize the disgusting thing you are doing.

I don’t believe euthanasia is murder.
Nor I don’t believe there was a plug to be pulled.
The fact is that most people suffering from terminal cancer go at a time of their choosing, before the cancer totally consumes them.
Is this how your cancer stricken family members went?
It is how mine did.
And BTW, I have never once claimed to be a Christian in my life.
I hope her death gives Obama pause, if but for a moment, to consider the precious brevity of life - all lives - and the finality of eternity. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
