....Mustafa Ceric, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia-Herzegovina....

Ceric is a very dangerous islamic supremacist. His goal is to become the Grand Mufti of Europe, and to promote the islamization of Europe.

Italy has a true muslim moderate leader, Sheik Palazzi, so there are muslims that the Pope and other Christians can have dialogues with (without compromising on the truth of the Gospel, I hope!). However, any “dialogue” led by Ceric is strictly an undermining operation, as is the whole bogus “Bosnian muslim state”!!!!

The muslim Turk is doing everything possible to strangle the Ecumentical Patriarchate of Constantinople. And “Istanbul’s” “most famous mosque” is copied from the Hagia Sophia, which the muslim Turk desecrated in 1453, and remains in muslim hands (as a museum—formerly a mosque) to this day.

The muslim Turk’s anti-Orthodox Christian atrocities continue despite the Pope’s meeting with the mufti of “Istanbul”, and other “dialogues” by Western churches with muslim Turks. Is this not another example of the West trying to make alliances with islam at the expense of the Orthodox Christian world?

Militant Islam Monitor certainly has Ceric on their radar: Ceric made it clear in a recent interview (see below) that he sees the UK as one of the first 'trophies' in the Islamisation of Europe.

But the West is still bound and determined to "negotiate" our surrender. Talking about this is like talking to wall.

Your comment betrays your poor understanding of Ratzinger. He is no fool! If anything, he has accepted this invitation with the clear intention of aiding the Orthodox. It may take a while to see this but ... just watch him. Benedict XVI is the greatest theologian of our times. Have faith! And, please pray for him.

I hope you’re right, NYer. But many Orthodox (including my own priest) have different views on what the Pope is doing.

I will pray for Benedict XVI, however. After that election yesterday, we’re all going to have to pray for each other a lot!
