Ohio Election Results Live Thread
Ohio Secretary of State ^ | 11/04/08 | TonyInOhio

Posted on 11/04/2008 3:54:25 PM PST by TonyInOhio

I'll be posting results and analysis on this thread as the Ohio returns come in. There are a couple of wild cards in play this year. First, our new early voting period means that some early results will be skewed, as it appears that a significant proportion of Democrats, especially African Americans, voted early. This will give an advantage to Democrats in the early numbers.

Secondly, a significant number of ACORN registrations were determined to be invalid (like 1/3) and so many of those registratnts, if the vote, will be give provisional ballots. These ballots will only be counted if the regular and early vote margin is too close to call.

Who votes early and why? And, who works so they have to vote later?

This is FoxNews’ map. It’s live and continually updated.

You can view the whole map or click on a state.

Just move your cursor over a state, and it’s data is revealed.

I’ve got it open on my screen at all times.

I’ll be monitoring this thread (and possibly adding to it) until we get a result.

Strong turn out in rural and suburbs and lower turn out today in cities. Perhaps because of early voting? I think McCain would win Ohio with actual - genuine - bonafide voters - but ACORN’s corruption of the system is a wild card.

Brunner is public enemy #1 in the Buckeye state. She’s going down in 2010!

I’d sign a petition for Brunner’s impeachment if I had one in front of me.

I agree with you completely. The fraud vote is the thing that is hard to know how pervasive it is.

I voted early, have for the last 8 years. mostly because the issues are long reading and I like going over the ballot at the house. However, it’s obvious that the dems can’t be trusted, just like the soviets...when the communists got 100% of the vote.
time to get rid of early voting and only voting on election day...

Agree. No early voting and absentee only for those out of town. If it isn’t important enough for you to go vote on the Constitutionally mandated day, you shouldn’t have a voice.

LS, our well-connected and dashing GOP official guy, posted an excellent UPDATE FROM OHIO earlier today. In short, Republican leaning precincts and counties from around the state are showing huge increases in turnout.

Not too worried about Ohio.

I hope we pick up PA.
