Be that as it may, I’m sorry she lost.

“Carpet-bagging is bad juju....”

And for good reason. Obama is carpet-bagging the entire country. He’s a citizen of the world.

Well, this isn’t the first time black, poor cultures have been used for someone’s gain. Probably won’t be the last.

I think things look rather bad for McC..last stats I saw had 0bamination with 82 ECV and McC with 39.
I cannot believe the idiots who voted for Marxism. They will get theirs...but they will drag us down with them. WE are going to have on hell of fight ahead of us. So much for all the polls saying how close things were.

You are so right. Those ads won’t stand the history smell test. Too bad because she was way better than that.

Too right. Too sad. For all of us. I had high hopes there.

I’m with you on that one.

If Obama wins, it will be awful. If Perdue wins, I will be utterly embarrassed that my home state elected the dumbest person ever to occupy the Governor’s Mansion.

For a couple years our county GOP kept asking her to come help us with a fundraiser, she always declined, too busy, other committments.
This year she had the audacity to ask us to give her money for her campaign. We didn’t have much, (Thanks so much Liddy!)so made the decision to give what we had to local races where we thought it might have more impact.

She was never in the state. Some of the people in her office were down right nasty. When I called about offshore drilling, the guy who answered the phone literally started to scream at me, “YOU MEAN YOU WANT IT IN OUR BACKYARD?” I was very calm and replied “it has to be in someone’s so it might as well be ours then we get the oil and the revenue”. He slammed the phone down in my ear. I voted for her, because I did not want Kay Hagan but I was not enthusiastic. Wonder if we’ll ever see her in NC again when she’s not Senator? We didn’t see her much when she was.

Very sad that the seat formerly occupied by one of the great champions of constituent services, Jesse Helms, was taken over by Washington insiders who ignored the state.

It was also how she played the reaction to the ads.. she should have had a comeback, she didn’t. It gave Liddy’s competitor the sympathy vote. We often overestimate the thoughtfulness of voters, many vote like they do on American Idol, whomever gives them warm fuzzy feelings... a failure on our part to find out how to work to those groups.

I definitely believe in God, but I also believe He may just let the United States have what they want. He never said the righteous wouldn't have to suffer. Look how we've allowed Him to be treated. We've allowed the liberals to remove prayer from schools, His name can't be mentioned, they voted for evil to triumph over good. They pass laws that killing innocent babies is acceptable, and the innocent victim's rights have been vacated while the criminal's rights (should he have rights the victim doesn't have?) are protected. What in the name of all that's holy is going on when we have criminals suing because their victim caused them some pain? It's insanity that is prevailing in our courts, and we need to take back our country.

Maybe it's time we took another look at term limits and get rid of some of the vilest people on earth who will do anything to destroy Christianity, but will allow some godless sect to practice their beliefs. With term limits, perhaps we can restore some sane behavior in Congress. Have you noticed that Democrats are never held responsible for their wrong-doings? But they scream bloody murder until a Republican has to be punished for making a humorous statement, that they blew out of proportion. They have thieves and liars among their membership who are never punished. Members of Congress are our employees, yet they have usurped their authority and have begun voting themselves huge raises and retirement programs. They work for us and we should make those decisions.

I'm for taking back our nation and restoring prayer in schools, and for impeaching judges who use laws of foreign countries to interpret our laws. We have a Constitution and if they can't follow it; kick them out! We've depended on our lawmakers and representatives to do right by us, but few have. I read today that Chuckie Schumer wants in re-enact the Fairness Doctrine Act. They've tried it before, and when people have to listen to their stupidity they turn them off. We've got to send people like him a message that this is our country NOT HIS, and we will make that decision.

Yes, I believe God will restore this nation when people humble themselves and repent for what they have allowed to be done to Him. I don't mean you personally...I mean the people who were supposed to be doing our bidding, but forgot who they were responsible to and for.

Shiite! God help us the Rats don’t get 60 seats.

We are screwed even if they don't get 60 with RINO's like Collins, Snow and others.

Kay! Kay! Kay! won the state, huh? I’m surprised and perplexed. Besides, she’s a bee-yotch. Oh, well.
