We will not start putting it together until libertarians and social conservatives make an accommodation. Your post was brilliant but what have you to say to the social conservatives?

I think that we are dealing with some fairly ignorant people here (not you, the Obama voters), who simply think they are getting free money. I think that when dealing with stupid people, we should keep it in terms that they can understand: You punished me (the rich), so now I will be forced to punish you.

There are plenty of Libertarians who would already understand this concept. I think a socially conservative fund (like a green fund) would also be a good idea.

There are those of us that would never purchase economic security with the blood of the unborn (as my good catholic friend thinks she just did, berating me for my selfishness and inattention to the poor along the way.)
There are still some principles that trump economic interest, as our founding fathers knew. I hope we as a country will realize that.
