Put blame squarely on the shoulders of the asshats who voted for McCain in the primaries.

Don't knock the PUMAs. They did the right thing.

We don't know that...for all I care, the so-called PUMAs are probably laughing at us right now.

What little of them their actually was. My guess is over half of them were republican sockpuppets trying to keep them angry and encouraged to vote against Obama.

Dude! We were never going to win this year.
ACORN padded the rolls by more than a million, and that is not counting the media or the economic conditions.
It just wasn’t in the cards.
Let the financial meltdown happen on their watch. It’s coming.

It was next to impossible to win when McCain didn’t defend one thing in the Bush Administration. He constantly referred to the last 8 years being the worst, reaffirming Obama’s Change theme. Lets face it, most conservatives knew what McCain was, but to refuse to use the many issues that would have helped him was a complete dereliction.

One last thing. McCain-Feingold was his final nail in the coffin.

Sorry, I have the facts messed up from Operation Chaos. I was really shocked and mad at the election results. That was the reason. Regardless, I remember a bunch of Freepers proudly claiming that they voted for Obama in the Demo. primaries to bury the Hildabeast. Don’t you wish the Hildabeast were the president right now instead of Hussein? Brace for hard times ahead. Hussein will mess up the country for decades to come.

Well said. I remember saying back in the primaries that this moron was dangerous but was told that he would be easily defeated. Oh well.

Put down the pipe, Rush was telling people to vote for Hillary.

The sad thing is Hillary would have likely won even bigger. Obama had a closet full of skeletons or his margin would have been even bigger, against a weak candidate like McCain.

The people who should feel bad are those that voted for McCain during the primaries. Only the choice of Palin even made it close

Lots of freepers were saying they voted Obama because they 'thought' he would be easier to beat.

The way I remember it is that Obama, after winning Iowa and several other states, seemed the strongest and UNBEATABLE ....

And thus many (including Rush) thought it best to support Hillary because it caused friction between the Obama and Hillary camps, and because Hillary was obviously the weaker of the two.

It was a valid plan, and if only enough Democrats had voted Hillary in the primaries, she would have been the Dem nominee....

As it ended up, Obama truly WAS the stronger candidate because, in my opinion, white independants and some Republicans would rather see a charasmatic black male be President than a shrill woman who represents the past.

Let's face it. Many people voted for Obama because they DID want to break from the past.

It mattered little to them that the recent economic turmoil was caused largely by Democrat refusal to allow energy exploration... in combination with Democrat refusal to stop the "zero down" fraudsters at Fannie Mae mortgage.

If the PUMAs were really so on-board against The One, this would NOT have happened.

As far as I am concerned, RATS will be RATS and their talk is very cheap. After all, Hillary and Bill campaigned for The One.

"I’d rather have Hillary than Obama. Just sayin’...."

Why? They're both the same. Hillary's just hides it better.

You sir have a rather damaged recollection of what Rush and operation chaos were about. Check the records before you post next time.

and if you really need to identify the source of this loss, start with McAmnesty and the blue blood section of the GOP who put that lame ass candidate up to represent conservatives.

Cheers,
Lloyd

Your link proves nothing; and it's more logical to blame those who voted for McCain during the primaries than the disillusioned Hillary supporters, not matter how small their number may or may not be.

I thought it was Rush also. But it was a bad idea either way to vote in a DEM primary with sole intentions to disrupt the primaries results. Voting should be taken far more serious than that. Republicans should have more principles than doing that. It is a lowering to the DEMs standards. That said I don’t listen to Rush, Sean, or any of the other Mainstream Party Line types anyway. Any respect I had for Hannity I lost due to his childish unprofessional behavior in the GOP debates interviews. Rush? Well I outgrew a need for him real quick.
