Forget the blacks.
Focus on the Hispanics, especially those coming from socialist countries...they are OUR voters we just have to reach out to them.
I also think that we need to stop chiding GOPers who speak to largely Hispanic audiences.
I thoughtthe same thing in Virginia when the New Yorkers and Jersites started flocking into te state. I figured they wanted to get out of their cesspools and enjoy a better life for their families. As it tured out, what they really wanted was cheap real estate and to turn Virginia into another cesspool like Jersey.
My guess is that the influx of Hispanics, by and large, are coming into this country for the same reasons. They figure our government will take care of their welfare needs better than their own government does. Scialism is what they are seeking,..they see it only as trading up.
The problem is that while those hispanics are socially conservative (see the bans on gay marriage, for example), they’re pretty economically liberal. Obama’s spread the wealth message was very appealing to them. I’m not sure how much we can really reach out to them without losing the business vote. That’s the hard part.
