NRCC gave her up for dead in the most GOP seat in the state. Clowns.

Being in a safe seat is the only thing that saved her.

Wow a conservative speaks her mind, gets abandoned by her party— wins anyway.

Something to think about.

Did Oberweis, Kirk, and Roskam avoid any Obama coattails in IL?

There’s a light in the darkness, that is this election night.

She is exactly the kind of person we should be embracing instead of abandoning. We cannot play nice the next 4 years.

She’ll have two years to get things in order. I wonder if she’s going to shut up and stick to filling potholes in her district now?

I'm happy. The night was a disaster but this is good news. No thanks to the clowns that ran the GOP congressional campaign committee.

If she had been eliminated, the seat would’ve gone GOP next cycle anyways. They pulled a million in spending we needed elsewhere. It was probably the right decision.

Why don't we change the name of the party to the Pothole Filling Party.

Kirk probably voted for Obama. He’s a RINO of the first order.

That’s what the brain dead GOP said last time in my district. Tonight the freshman Democrat ditz downhere got re-elected.

Roskam won easily.

Kirk by a surprising 10-pint margin. Really I’m shocked the effete rich liberals split their tickets.

Oberweis was never gonna win, he got creamed. People don’t like him.

Conservatives want their leaders to fight and tell the truth. Liberals know this better than Republicans and so accuse Republicans of saying the truth ahead of time and spinning it so it sounds bad.

“Wow a conservative speaks her mind, gets abandoned by her party— wins anyway.”

Same thing happened here in Missouri. Sarah Steelman was the true Conservative candidate but lost in the primary. Why? The GOP establishment wanted to go with a Washington DC hack. And guess what? The hack lost and Missouri now has a dem governor.

I wonder where they put it cause we’ve lost a while bunch.

1 rat in NY who WAS NOT TARGETED (Acuri) won by only 51-49, they should have put it there.

She was better yes but she wouldn’t have won either. Blunt wouldn’t have won, that’s why he quit with his tail between his legs rather than stay and fight.

Jay Nixon is a douche. Have fun MO.

Enough with the RINOs if Dems are going to vote for a liberal they will vote for a dem. There is no reason for us to run one also.

Hurray for Michele Bachman who was one Republican who at least had the guts to stand up and call a spade a sapde (no racial slur intended).
