Californians went to the polls today on the divisive and deeply emotional issue of same-sex marriage, with early exit poll data showing the state's voters closely divided along lines of religion and political affiliation.
With the polls still open, it is too early to project the outcome, which would amend the California Constitution to ban gay marriage. But preliminary data showed that Democrats and independents were tending to vote against Proposition 8, while Republicans were in favor of the measure.

Blacks for it???
So the blacks voted on a proposition to ban gay marriage but voted for a president that supports gay marriage.
Oh well, stupid is as stupid does.
“Latinos divided.”
So much for that conservative, family values BS the amnesty crowd (even on FR) are constantly spouting.
Yup, a real Seinfeldian irony. I don’t think that gays realize fully what is happening. Many of bambi’s strongest supporters are also very anti homosexual....Nation of Islam, new black panthers, and of course, Islam. As these powers gain more power in the US, and they will under bambi, gay rights will go down the toilet....fast.
Gee and it seemed like such a cool progressive thing to do to vote for bambi...LOL!
The potential for freebies trumps fingernail-thin “values” everytime, with the entitlement voter crowd. And as many single Hispanic young mothers of multiple children as I’ve seen when I visit my sister in Texas, I wouldn’t put much stock in their “traditional values”. The ones who had traditional values and respect for themselves and others, came here legally.
Yes, most definitely. Just a few days ago I received a pro 8 flyer obviously geared towards African Americans. It had a photo of Obama and a quote from him “I am against gay marriage” and on the back several prominent black supporters of 8 giving their reasons to vote for it.
Gays have just been sucker punched, and its just the beginning.
Exactly. The ones that came here illegally are welfare-class socialists who work under the table (meaning, they do not pay taxes) and line up at the door of every social-handout we offer.
Nope, they know that Zero had to say that he was against gay marriage in order to be elected, one of the very first "I've changed my mind" epiphanies he has will be on that subject, and they know it.
They know they'll get this on the back end. (pun absolutely intended.)
0bama says he’s against gay marriage.
Yes, he’s lying.. but that’s what he says, and of course the blacks are not going to question their Messiah.
I don't think so. Clinton won a sweeping victory in 1992, huge majorities in Congress just like 0bama... and he immediately pissed away his honeymoon on gays in the military. 0bama may be a conniving Marxist, but he is not stupid.
Not if Islam and the NOI and Black Panthers have anything to say about it. Bambi is a puppet and I don’t think gay power secularists are holding the strings, they were just useful idiots in his election. I really doubt gay rights will advance at all in the bambi admin.
NOt stupid, uneducated and unwashed.
Right, Islam and Faggotry do not jive with each other.
And remember what 0bama said...when it comes time to choose, he will “side with the Muslims.”
Oh, and you Jews who so wholeheartedly supported 0bama? You will rue the day, I swear it.
Update:
A majority of Hispanics and Blacks voted against gay marriage, so for Prop 8 if I state it correctly.
“Even as African-American and Latino voters were a powerful force in boosting America’s first black president to victory, in California they also were crucial to passing Proposition 8, a ballot measure labeled, “Eliminates right of same-sex couples to marry.”
Exit polls showed that 70 percent of black voters, and a majority of Latino voters, voted yes on Proposition 8, one likely reason why the measure won a slim majority in Los Angeles County, where pre-election polls had suggested it would lose, even though it lost by a huge margin in the Bay Area.”
