In my city, under dem one-party rule, there are two lines outside of city hall right now. One line has a sign saying “Pick it up here,” in which cash by the bucketload is being handed out, under the policy of spreading the wealth. All those who get their full buckets then proceed to the second line which has a sign saying “Give it up here.”

It’s an endless loop.

I highly doubt that folks like Peggy the Moocher are looking for honest work. What they are after is the handout.
