Except this time, Obama and the Kleptocrats are going to do things like set up their “domestic civilian security force” and make dissent from the party line a hate crime.

It’s a bit harder to recover from that. Just ask the poor bastards in Poland.

The people of this country turned their back on that ideal and got in bed with socialism. We need to start again somewhere else.

Meh..

They can either live in the free republic of Texas or they can leave.

Whats so hard about this for you to understand?

Winning the heats and minds of people away from the government tit is never gonna work and is a failing strategy. They need to go cold turkey.

I wasn’t alive when Carter was voted in, but I get the feeling similar claims were made then.

Let’s see... Oklahoma and Texas are geographically advantageously situated if I’m not mistaken.

The moment Hussein and Pelosi start chucking the 2nd Ammendment, I’m joining the armed resistence.

I thought of that too, but no, there weren’t.

The worst claim was that Carter would tank the economy (which he did) and screw the military (which he also did.)

Obama has made too many promises and is beholden to too many special interests to not implement this sort of thing.

They have most of the dry-land oil, shale, and natural gas, yes. :D

Once the welfare checks stop being doled out all the O voters will leave on their own.

This means we’d have to slice and dice hundreds of thousands of people and where would we put them? Re-education camps? Oops, this is beginning to sound like Obama.

India & Pakistan exported their malcontents to each other in 1947.

Unlike socialist countries like the USSA is about to become,

the Republic of Texahoma would allow emigration (exiting) at will.

Most honest historians say the treaty between Texas and the US that brought Texas into the union was never ratified by the people of Texas.

India made out far better in that trade, though.

No you don't. Have your temper tantrum and then get over it.
Texas is part of the United States. End of story. Now start working on spreading the facts about our history and the way the country was designed to your fellow citizens. This election was the result of a malfeasance of the press and the eduction system to teach traditional values.

You want a strong America? Start working for one. You want to whine and moan? Join the Libs. It is what they offer.

My husband reminded me that there are two Republics in the union: Texas and California. He thinks they both reserved the right to secede at any time... any idea if that is true? California would only secede if a miracle happened.

you misread - I said geoGRAPHically, not geoLOGically. But you know better about the latter than I do, I’m sure.

My point was, they are together.
