And this is where this is very different from CA in that the FL court had not ruled on the marriage issue.

Narrowly passing? I'm confused here, how does "narrowly passing" and 62% exist in the same article?

It probably requires a 3/5 (60%) vote to pass. Thus the ‘narrow’.

A simple majority of votes is not enough to amend the Florida constitution.

I give the courts about 10 minutes to pop this bubble.

It takes more than 60% of the votes to amend the Florida Constitution.

What is disgusting is the way the LameStream Media in Florida is reporting the story...saying it “barely” passed...in Florida, amendments must get 60%...before 2006, it was a mere 51%.

So they’re playing like it made it by the thinnest of popular sentiment. Nevertheless, it IS in the state constitution, and the pukes in the media and the courts cannot stop it. :)

There is a silver lining in every cloud.

Obambi and friends will leave this to the courts, that is once they’ve all been packed to resemble the 9th Circuit. His appointments will base their opinions on trendy notions of “justice” remember, not that silly yellowed document those old white men wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see if the liberal FL supremes try to rule a lawfully passed constitutional amd. unconstitutional!

The Liberal Messiah, with the help of His rubber stamp Congress, will repeal the federal DOMA. Once that happens, gay couples will go to the People’s Republic of Kennedy to get married and then go to their home States to demand full faith and credit. Then our judicial overlords can overrules the People again.
