Brooklyn Marine Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife, Quiana, seen in August wedding photo, were found tortured and slain Oct. 15 in their home near San Diego. A Brooklyn-raised Marine sergeant and his new bride were tortured and killed execution-style in their California home - allegedly by four other Marines under his command.
Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak, who was raised in Bensonhurst, and his wife, Quiana, were found bound and gagged in the ransacked house, each shot in the head.
Pietrzak was the suspects' sergeant at Camp Pendleton, Quiana's mother said Wednesday.
"They're monsters," Faye Jenkins told the Daily News. "They're monsters."
Pietrzak's mother, Henryka Pietrzak-Varga, said she had prepared herself "for the possibility that my son could die in Iraq."
"But to die like this, in their own home?" she told The News. "They were good kids. They didn't deserve to die like this."
Investigators said the motive for murder was "financial gain." Neither mother believes that.
"When I found out what they did to them, it was like they killed me, too," Pietrzak-Varga said.
A spokesman for the Riverside County district attorney's office would not comment on reports that Pietrzak was killed by his own men.

Also it is out of necessity, the necessity of being the best disciplined gang with the most advanced tactics for regional domination when warring with other gangs. Those who advance up to the upper tier (which is generally found within maximum security holding facilities) see a veil lifted. They soon find out, when inducted that they shall serve a boss, but... he will be even more tyrannical and apathetic to their conditions than a real boss of a corporation or a drill sergeant could hope to envision. There will be no tolerance of mistakes, if you fail, you will be squashed, like cockroach. Failure to kill friends, or sell drugs to children will incur immediate termination, but there will be no severance pay.
In reality the Army or any other Armed force fits quite well with higher tier gang lifestyle. It is extremely regimented and you receive orders daily. Gerald Rubalcaba is a Ex-Marine, which I think you may use ex here very aptly. He is one of the leading members of the Prison gang, La Nuestra Familia. Many prison gangs have a reading list for those who wish to advance, they must read and master works by Mao, Machiavelli and a whole gamut of others. It is this elite Gang Echelon who encourage military enlistment, they know it will enhance the lethality of this organization (or as it is called in NF, "the O").
Those in the prison send out orders much like those in Washington send out orders to those commanders on the field. Also much like those in Washington, they have unrealistic expectations and really haven't a clue as to those who are actually on the ground.
Mind you I am not comparing soldiers of class and character to thugs, I am just bestowing some understanding with this analogy.
The Armed forces are plagued by these self serving parasites, however more is being done to deal with this malady. None of this in anyway diminishes the accomplishments of those serving honorably. Once again, this is simply for illumination on this matter.
The four black murderers who killed this white man and raped and murdered his black wife apparently cared a great deal.
They do try to get in. At basic training they are checked for tattoos. If they find any gang related markings they’re gone—out, no gos.

Sykes admitted that he was the one who cut the woman’s clothes off and held her while she was sexually assaulted by the other three men, the document states.

Didn’t the article say it was for “quick gain”? How does a robbery/murder become a racially motivated crime?
The article can say anything it wants.
Let's do two logical exercises:
(1) When a murderer is arrested for raping and killing the inhabitants of a house he broke into, he can either (a) admit that he planned to kill them all along or (b) he can say that he only planned to rob them and the murder and rape was an accident, or perhaps the situation just got out of hand.
Option (a) would mean that he was confessing to premeditated murder, a death penalty offense. Option (b) would mean that he was confessing to second degree murder, which would spare him the death penalty.
Just because a murderer is smart enough to choose option (b) as his story when there is enough evidence to put a needle in his arm doesn't mean he's telling the truth.
Logical exercise (2):
The murderers were personally known by face, name and place of employment to the murder victims. The victims were Marines who served in the same unit with one of the victims and were known socially to both of them.
Is it logical to believe that these murderers intended to break into a home owned by people who knew them, while those same people were home, and only wanted to rob them - knowing full well that their victims could have the police waiting outside their own homes to arrest them before they got back from the robbery?
No, they committed crimes against these people because they intended that there would be no witnesses left alive to identify them.
Moreover, why would four young, strong, well-trained men in need of loot break into the home of a man who made the exact same modest salary taht they did?
Wouldn't robbing a wealthy person's house be a more logical move?
Using your arguments still doesn’t say this was a racially motivated crime. They were murderous nuts by any argument and could have killed any race. Black on black crimes are far higher than any other.
If you are interested in burglary you do not target someone you personally know who makes the exact same salary you do.
Burglary was no the motive.
It was clearly something personal.
Take one women who will not date Marines and probably turned down these guys for dates. Enter the Sargent of these guys and he sweeps her off her feet.
Doesn’t mean it was racially motivated is my point. Nuts like that are not discriminating people. Blacks lowlifes kill whites and blacks.
I can only assume you read an article I did not in addition to this one. It doesn’t say more than she was reluctant to date a marine-it never says she even knew the murderers. It also says they owned a 5 bedroom home. Since we usually don’t know how others finance their homes, I might assume anyone having a 5 bedroom home was wealthy aside from military pay. He was a clean cut officer compared to the nuts. He could have been black and under the same circumstances have been their target.
I am not defending them because I believe there is a certain element of our population that has no regard for any others—regardless of race.
