Volatility has returned on Wall Street, with the Dow Jones industrials falling 486 points to the 9,139 level, and all the major indexes tumbling more than 5 percent.

Going from a President weak on economic issues (Bush: Bad trade deals, borrow and spend liberalism, Bailout) to a gawd-awful one (Obama: Socialist, Socialist, Socialist)...this sure isnt going to help the stock market.
Scary thing is that the market mess will make it easier and more plalatable, politically, for Obama to move the US more and more socialist
I don’t even know what kind of news would stabilize the market. I am think once the Gov decides what it is and isn’t going to do about real estate, or maybe about what is actually going to change on the tax front. We are probably in for rough times until next summer at least.
People think the government can save us like FDR did in the Great Depression.
I doubt it. This time Big Government ALREADY has BIG DEBT.
Whose going to lend Government the money to fund Obama’s socialistic plans? Nobody. Not even the Arabs and China has her own stock market crisis.
Better have a trade,foodstuffs, gold or something of value(like shotgun shells) cuz jobs like lawyers, financial advisers or stockbrokers won't be in much demand in a “barter” economy.

ANY bad news, oh let’s say in April of 2012, will be universally and with one voice tied back to President Bush by the ObamaMedia propagand mill, which by the way today, happily welcomes their newest addition, Fox News.
What you say is true. The international scene is worse even than ours, since our transparency, relative to the rest of the world’s economies, allowed our bubble to pop ahead of everyone else’s. The rest of the wolrd is lagging us by a few months to maybe a year.
Indeed, how can we borrow aborad to finance our debt is a profound obstacle to socialist dreams which never create wealth.
Oh, they are going to get "change" like they never knew "change" before.
But no worries, Obama will give them all the government cheese they can swallow, pay their mortgages and put fuel in their cars. Didn't you hear that obama supporter tell you? He's just going to 'tax the rich' and spread the wealth. (the problem is, how is he going to "tax the rich" on money they've already been taxed on?
Taxing new wealth might just be a little harder than Obama thought, especially when there isn't any being made....

I despise The Zero and his soon to be revealed elitist partners in crime, but I am thoroughly pissed off at my “fellow” Americans.
