Better NO TAX! Starve em out. A tea Party is on the adgenda. What is Boston Tea Party Day. We should make a new holiday.

Yep. I got all cashed in and spending NADA. I cashed out the 401 cause I lost a lot of it but I figure with the Obama depression coming the deflation will make up for it.

Huckabee is on board for the FairTax... Romney has said that he “likes the idea”, but hedged that he hasn’t studied it enough... Time to hit the books Mitt... Toss your ‘advisors’ aside and LETS TRANSFORM THIS NATION!
Anyone know where the rest of the “gop leadership” stands on this?

Americans For Fair Taxation is not focusing on one party more than another. As Ken Hoagland stated in his opening sentence FairTax.org is non-partisan. We'll need both parties to pass The Fair Tax Act(HR25/S1025).

Congressman Virgil Goode (R-VA 5th) was a FairTax supporter. Beat over the head with a lying campaign by an anti-FairTax Democrat Tom Perriello using lying demagogue to misinform voters about Goode's tax porposal. Ads just stated that he wanted to 'raise sales taxes by 26%." Or, "by not electing Goode, you can save 40% on everything."
The FairTax is the ONLY BEST solution. I just finished both book 1 & 2. I'm convinced and sold out on it!
Where do we go from here? I can't very well call or write Tom Perriello or Mark Warner or Jim Webb and ask them to support the FairTax.
We as a people need to go over their heads somehow.

At this point the FT is the only way to compete in the battle of tax cuts.
This eliminates federal income tax. Not reduce or redirect, eliminates.

The best method is to get into their heads by putting the pressure on them by contacting them regardless of party affiliation and let them know we support The Fair Tax. Spread the word about The Fair Tax throughout your community. Let Congress critters know there is a growing grassroots effort they must join or risk losing their jobs.

Made a contribution to keep the movement going. Better than contributing to the Republican Party. Republican Party left me, so I’ll support whatever new Conservative Party the come up with...or [IF] they’re able to take back the Republican Party from RINOS and Country Clubers.

Dude give it up. Obama’s idea of Fair Tax and yours are too far apart to reconcile. FT is dead for now.

You have a short memory. Politicians don't run the show. The people run the show. You need to only look back over the past couple of years since Congress and President Bush tried to ram amnesty down Americans throats on three separate occasions. Each time the people overwhelmed Congress critters and they buckled under the pressure. The Fair Tax grassroots effort is growing and increasingly applying the same pressure. It has gained far too much support to simply go away.

You should of picked a different issue than the invaders. The FENCE is not built and never will be. This Congress will introduce an immigration bill before it goes home and if they cannot get it through it will be one of the first bills introduced next session. They will put it through and they give a rat's a$$ what we think. The first response was just a temporary set back to them. McCain already has the draft ready.
As far as the people being in charge thanks for the laugh I needed today.

The FairTax books really enlightened me and I'm NOT economically savvy. The FairTax is the way to turn the nation around in every economic way!
Now, who else to support in my limited small, but money-where-my-values-are way? Heritage.org? Are they into building the next [true] Conservative leaders? Right now, it's NOT the RNC! I heard Senator Jim DeMint on Mark Levin and he is heading up an orgaization to build up and promote a new generation of "Conservative" Senators. www.senateconservatives.com. I don't know how effective he'll be, but Mark was encouraged.

That’s what I like to see — a guy who takes defeat lying down. Great for the future of the nation.

The 76 cosponsors of The Fair Tax didn't sign on for altruistic purposes. They did so as the direct result of pressure from their constituents. The last laugh is on you.
