Sending a socialist/Marxist to prevent the market from correcting itself after decades of government intervention in and manipulation of the market is more like it.

“But as more reports pour in showing the downturn accelerating”

I don’t get it. The economy is now getting worse than Obama knew it was going to be, so he’s off the hook? But I thought he defined the current crisis as the worst economy since the Great Depression. If that was so, how could reports of an “accelerating” downturn change anything? Unless the reports are showing that the crisis is accelerating beyond the scope of the Great Depression, which I highly doubt.

I’ve got a question for you, MSM. How about next time we elect a liberal you wait at least three days before you start making excuses?

“The great fallacy of this age is that someone can ‘fix’ the economy. It was government intervention that got us here and it will always be government intervention that makes it worse.”

It appears that for a moment at least you forgot that there is a way to “fix” the economy. Get the government out of the way!

It doesn’t take a PHD in Economics to know that if you plan to tax the bajeebus out of people’s market gains, that they will take their money OUT of the market before the tax rates increase. I mean..DUH.

Gee, this guy must be a “management genius”. What a plan. Tax the snot out of people, and this is supposed to HELP the economy?

I’ll be happy to accept my 401k and stock holdings losing all their value and I never collecting a penny of social security if it means liberalism is totally destroyed in the U.S.A. If the demoncraps simply try to steal it, well, that’s another matter.

This is obviously a clear case of “biting off more than you can chew”. The dear leader should have kept his mouth shut, now investors are jumping out of coal like rats off a sinking ship.

the short-term impact of the new administration’s policies may be limited.

We're seeing it already, and right now the only thing that looks like a limiting factor is that the DJIA doesn't go below zero.

When has the Socialist Demokratik Politburo ever accepted blame for anything?

They even forgot Viet Nam was escalated by them and call it “Nixon’s War.”

Why should Obama worry about the economy when he has already promised to eliminate poverty, and establish peace and prosperity forevermore? /black humor

One interesting observation about the election is that we may finally get an answer to the question “So, what’s the dog going to do with the car if he catches it?”
