Talk about major backtracking. They will never admit that the current stock market downturn is because of Obama.

Bankrupting the energy sector and installing Squeaky Kennedy to head the dept of energy will be a great start.

Buy batteries folks.

Maybe not, but at least someone needs to go out and measure the ocean level, because it should be starting to recede right about now.

Well, the US picked the wrong person to fix the economy. We are in for the closest thing to another depression. BO is just going to make it worse

I love how Obama and the MSM are already campaigning for 2012. Even in his speech, he did it. In fact, that’s all this guy has ever done. He campaigned for stuff.

If so, he cannot implement his socialist plan.

Remember, he wouldn’t support drilling our own oil because there would be no immediate benefit.

Looks like he’ll have to find another plan.

Media already making excuses for their messiah. Everything is, and will be, Bush’s fault for the foreseeable future.

Private employers last month made their deepest job cuts in six years, according to a widely watched report, and planned layoffs surged to their highest in nearly five years.

Cutting payrolls before the minimum wage is hiked under the Obama administration.

Voters made clear they want the new Congress and Obama administration to make the economy a top priority.

Yeah, good luck with that. By the way, keep your hands on your wallets. The tax bell tolls for thee, "voters".

“But as more reports pour in showing the downturn accelerating”

I don’t get it. The economy is now getting worse than Obama knew it was going to be, so he’s off the hook? But I thought he defined the current crisis as the worst economy since the Great Depression. If that was so, how could reports of an “accelerating” downturn change anything? Unless the reports are showing that the crisis is accelerating beyond the scope of the Great Depression, which I highly doubt.

I’ve got a question for you, MSM. How about next time we elect a liberal you wait at least three days before you start making excuses?

It doesn’t take a PHD in Economics to know that if you plan to tax the bajeebus out of people’s market gains, that they will take their money OUT of the market before the tax rates increase. I mean..DUH.

Gee, this guy must be a “management genius”. What a plan. Tax the snot out of people, and this is supposed to HELP the economy?

I’ll be happy to accept my 401k and stock holdings losing all their value and I never collecting a penny of social security if it means liberalism is totally destroyed in the U.S.A. If the demoncraps simply try to steal it, well, that’s another matter.

the short-term impact of the new administration’s policies may be limited.

We're seeing it already, and right now the only thing that looks like a limiting factor is that the DJIA doesn't go below zero.
