I’m not worried about dealers and stores running out of perfectly legal goods.
There’s a rash of panic buying at the moment, and gun stores, like any other sort of retailer, will rapidly re-stock to fill the heightened demand.
There’ll be plenty to be had by the time I get my funds in order.
Understood on funds. I have been buying ammo for about three months now, and I noticed that as election day grew near, self-defense type ammo began to clear out, and it has not been replaced. After election day, I knew I wanted to pick up some more hollow point and 00 buck, but I did not get around to it until today. I was literally shocked at how slim the pickings were. I hope they restock, because even though I am well stocked, I could feel better with more. I did feel better in a way knowing that I am not the only person hoarding rounds, but I would saying that panicked buying is a huge understatement at this point. I have never seen shelves so bare.
You might be chasing that purchase price and never catch up.
But the question is, how long will they remain perfectly legal goods? Not much past March 1st in some cases would be my bet. Even if they theoretically retain the ability to sustain a filibuster, which is still up in the air, the 'pubbies won't do so for a bunch of redneck militia nuts.
