For ther life of me, I can’t understand why conservatives want to “re-build” the GOP.

It will be the same old, same old routine: conservatives are Charlie Brown, and the GOP is Lucy pulling the football away.

Why don’t we just start over with a new party and leave all the dross behind. Then the GOP can happily be the minority they have desired to be since 1992.

The GOP didn’t defend the Republic when Clinton broke the law. The GOP didn’t defend the Republic when a radical Marxist of unknown origin wanted the White House. The GOP didn’t fight Daschle,Reid, Pelosi,Frank, Schumer,Dodd,Biden, etc.

No, they let these numbnuts rule and saved their political capital to use against us conservatives.

No, at a critical hour when the Dems were going to run either Hillary or Obam, both threats to the Republic, the GOP chose John McCain.

When he was on life support in August, he picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate, and the base reignited. The resulting election would have been a blow-out for the Dems, a blue electoral map, if it wasn’t for Palin. And the GOP is thanking her how?

Case closed. The GOP is for losers. Let’s move on and leave stupid behind.

The Republic needs saving. Not Republicans.

Flake has the same position today, he can pound sand with the other rinos.

Cantor is a bailout sell out. You only have to comprimise your principles once.

I agree with you. The GOP is dying - they are damaged goods. Their brand name can never be polished. If we don’t want to have to be talking this same talk in 4 more years - we had better get started on a grass-roots movement to start a real conservative party & not let any RINOs in! The sooner we start - the sooner we will finish.

“Virgil Goode is one of the best.”

Strong and outspoken conservative. And, sadly, losing by 639 votes at last count. Wondering about military absentee ballots, though. Anything said re: VA-5 about absentees?

Eric Cantor supported the Socialist Bailout Bill

As far as I am concerned, that makes him lacking in leadership skills.

If you can’t make the right decision as far as your votes are concerned, you ain’t ready for leadership.

good idea - - kick out everyone who doesn’t meet a series of litmus tests! then the Republican Party really will be dead, and those of us serious about traditional values and government can have a go at a new major party while you guys sit in your clubhouse deciding who to kick out next.
