very slick website, lots of mind-numbing feel good gobbledygook, and, as to be expected, lots of Bush bashing. Feel like I need to take a decon shower.

Tons of Bush bashing.

I like the part about protecting America - “The first responsibility of any president is to protect the American people. Yet, seven years after the 9/11 attacks, we are not as safe as we can and should be.”

No mention that Bush has prevented another attack on the homeland and our interests abroad.

Hey your not the one he’s going to put this upon. It’s going to be us the college students... Why I’m trying to graduate as early as possible. I’ve already piled on classes and graduating a semester early because of this.

Here is the piece from the section of America serves

“When you choose to serve — whether it’s your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood — you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That’s why it’s called the American dream.”
The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

“Citizens of New America, the Revolution has now occurred. The evil reactionary regime of GWB has been relegated to the past and a new socialist society based on equality and justice is born. For now, you are directed to return to your normal business, as no great upheavals will affect you at present. However, you are also directed to report to the local commissar and register yourselves. You will then soon be contacted by the Revolutionary government authorities as to your role in New America’s future.”

I was looking at a thread on this last night. I can’t figure out how Obama got a DOT GOV domain for this already.

Create a National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank:

The Bank will receive an infusion of federal money, $60 billion over 10 years, to provide financing to transportation infrastructure projects across the nation.

Was this included in his nearly trillion dollars in spending? Or is this more? They won’t be able to print money fast enough.

I do believe that 50/100 hours of community service for our children is slave labor.

So far, every liberal I have forwarded this information too has let their jaw drop with a look of “Oh crap, what have I done?” I should not be satisfied with that, but somehow I am. I must be evil.
