I gather from your post you like Huckabee? I'll say this. I respect Huckabee's talents. He thinks fast. He speaks calmly. Some of his campaign pranks were simply ingenious--the cross ad, the press conf. about the Romney ad. He has a knack for making news, and that's a skill. He comes off very unthreatening, amiable. He has a lot of political skill. My problem with him is that apparantly he's a bit of a nanny-stater, and enough conservatives are opposed to him to make me think that even if I did support him, he'd split the conservative vote (again) and lead to another bad primary outcome. We need someone who can bring everybody on board, and he ain't the one.

As for Romney, I just don't trust him. He's a slick fraud, in my view, and not a true conservative.

Huckabee won GA in the primary, and has a lot of support here. I assume that is why the flyer with Huckabee’s endorsement of Chambliss was mailed.

I agree about Romney. He’s our Bill Clinton. Too slick by half.
